We have 4 and 6 sleeper cosy open-plan self-catering cottages set in peaceful quiet shaded tropical garden. The hosts live in the main house. Our 6 sleeper cottage has magnificent sea-views, while our 4 sleeper cottage is nestled behind our house on the in-land side of the property so has no direct sea view. The property is just above (190m) a private beach and world famous surf spot. We are 400m from the main bathing beach with lifeguards.

2/4 SLEEPER SELF-CATERING COTTAGE (WITH SEA VIEW)
The lovely 2/4 sleeper cottage (31 square meter) is open plan but does have 2 areas with an inter-leading door. It has a magnificent sea view. One room has a double bed and the other room/lounge has 2 day-bed couches (2 single beds). The kitchenette is well equipped with a fridge, 2-plate stove/oven, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, towels and linen for your stay. The bathroom has a lovely shower, toilet and basin.
2/3 SLEEPER SELF-CATERING COTTAGE (NO DIRECT SEA VIEW)
The cosy 2/3 sleeper open-plan bachelor cottage (26 square meter with 23 square meter covered patio and braai area) is tucked behind the main house on the inland side of the property, in a lovey tropical garden, so has no direct sea views. This cottage has aircon. It has no separate rooms. It has a double bed and 1 single day-bed. It has dstv lite. The kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge, 2-plate stove, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, towels and linen for your stay. The small bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. It has a lovely covered verandah with a braai area.

The Ballito Beaches are know hosts to the MR Price Pro Surfing event and this normally happens in around about June/July when the surf is at its peak in KZN and Durban. The Mr Price Pro surfing is not just surfing its an entire festival of music, parties concerts and much more. Perfect for relaxing in the sun, year round.
Bring your enthusiasm, energy, binoculars and your camera to Ballito Boardwalk. Not only can you enjoy a fantastic walk along the lengthy boardwalk but there is a more challenging hike to Salt Rock where you can enjoy spectacular views. The tunnel along the route is best endeavored at low tide.

The Nandi Experience is a three hour celebration of Shaka's mother and begins with an audiovisual presentation followed by a guided tour through Shakaland's royal kraal where visitors learn more about Zulu culture, beer making, ancient lore and pottery. Zulu drums signal the start of the 40 minute Zulu dance show after which, visitors enjoy a Zulu meal at the Shisa Nyama restaurant.
The Natal Sharks Board
The Natal Sharks Board is located in Umhlanga and a very popular attraction, being the only institute of its kind in the world. A 26 minute presentation introduces visitors to the world of the shark and there are shark dissections, a large shark display hall and a curio shop. Visitors can also go out with Sharks Board officers in the early morning to see how they service the shark nets off Durban's Golden Mile
The Litchi Orchard Market
The Litchi Orchard Market is located on Seaforth Avenue in the KwaZulu Natal coastal town of Umhlali and takes place on the first and third Saturday of each month between 8am and 1pm. Currently boasting 30 stallholders with products ranging from artisan breads, organic vegetables, homemade curries and Indian specialities to pancakes, dresses, nuts, preserves, German baked goods and the market favourite, a breakfast stall, the Litchi Market is obviously worth a visit on a Saturday morning.
